HVAC for Beginners: What to Learn First

Stage 1 — Safety, tools and how systems are built
Electrical safety, refrigerant handling, tool use, and the vocabulary of the equipment. Nothing else sticks until you can name what you are looking at and work on it without hurting yourself.
Stage 2 — The refrigeration cycle as a physical story
Compression, condensation, metering, evaporation — understood as pressure and temperature changing together, not as four words to memorise. Once the cycle is intuitive, gauge readings stop being trivia and start being evidence.
